Long time no write

I know I haven’t been around.
Since I broke my wrist,
I find reasons why I can’t see you.
I come up with ideas,
Think of ways to say hello to you.
I always seem to forget.
Seems as of late,
You’ve been trying to get my attention.
Don’t know why?
But I choose to ignore you.
Now you’re yelling,
Screaming so loud,
I can no longer deny you.
Well, here I am.
