What will be will be

It is no good to think long and hard about what might happen in life.
Just get on with it
That is what they say.
And I do
Day by day
I do my best and see what comes.
I suppose that is sensible.
It could always be worse, that is what I tell myself.
Sometimes I lie to myself just to get through the day.
Does that make me a liar?
Everybody lies.
Sometimes it is a nice lie.
Everybody lies.
Doesn’t make them bad
And it doesn’t make them sad
The truth shall set you free
That is how it goes right?
However, the truth don’t come so easily
But at times
What will be, will be.
